MARLBOROUGH A Rte. 20 Japanese sushi restaurant has closed due to financial issues caused by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Tao Ramen Sushi announced on Facebook the eatery is temporarily shutting down. The restaurant’s last day was Tuesday.
“We have all been through a tough time of the pandemic,” the post reads. “We are not qualified for anything (government) support and we are out of cash to keep running this restaurant.”
The post indicates Tao Ramen Sushi hopes to reopen at some point in the future.
“We decided to shut down the restaurant temporarily and we will go to work and save some money for (reopening),” the post states. “Hope to be back soon. …I will miss you all and hopefully, see you guys again soon.
