Ramban Land Sinking: CS urges scientists to recommend preventive measures
Srinagar: Ahead of the review to be taken by the Union Home Secretary regarding the land subsidence in village Pernote of Ramban district, Chief Secretary, Atal Dulloo, today took stock of measures taken up, so far, by the administration towards relief and rehabilitation of the affected population.

Banihal/Jammu, Apr 26 (PTI) More than 50 houses, four electricity towers, a receiving station, and a main road were damaged in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district dur to sinking of a road, officials said on Friday.
The land sinking in the village started on Friday and so far 16 houses were damaged, with three of them developing cracks on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.
