Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh) [India], January 6 (ANI): After the recent alleged attack on the idol of Lord Rama in Vizianagaram district, Seer of Vaishnavite tradition on Tuesday announced a tour of temples of Andhra Pradesh where incidents of attacks were reported.
Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swami will start his tour from January 17 after Dhanurmasa (a month of Hindu calendar). We will visit those places where the incidents of damaging temples took place in the state. After completion of Dhanurmasa which will end on January 14, we will start the Yatra (tour) on January 17, the Seer told ANI.
Calling the arrest of Bharatiya Janata Party Andhra Pradesh unit president Somu Veerraju in Vizianagaram district as illegal , party s general secretary Vishnuvardhan Reddy has given a call for statewide protest on Wednesday (today). Veerraju and some other leaders were arrested by Vizianagaram Police on Tuesday in Ramatheertham village to prevent them from undertaking Dharma Yatra to Ramateertham temple to protest against the desecration of Lord Rama idol by some unknown miscreants last week. In a video statement, Reddy called for a statewide protest on Wednesday and condemning the illegal arrest of Veerraju and party workers. He demanded the police to allow party leaders and workers into Ramateertham temple unconditionally.

Controversial actress Sri Reddy is back with another set of comments. and this time she gives her two cents about the attacks on the temple in Andhra Pradesh. Often trolled for speaking her mind, some of her comments are interspersed in between her saucy posts, where she also shares videos of her speaking on certain burning issues.
In a video released on her social media page recently, Sri Reddy said that there was a huge conspiracy behind the temple attacks and this was only to target the AP government. She said that this was only cheap politics played by a section of leaders. Why destroy idols and burn chariots for your leaders, she asked, taking the names of political leaders including Chandrababu, Lokesh. If you turn mad then take an injection and just die, but don t kill us, she said in the video.
