Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi on Friday launched the Redmi Note 10 5G smartphone device in the Kenyan market.
According to Ramadhan Hassan, marketing manager of Xiaomi Kenya, the device will be among the affordable 5G smartphones in the country and will be available at retail cost of 18, 499 shillings (about 172 U.S. dollars)
“The Redmi Note will be able to utilize 5G technology once telecom operators roll out the service,” Hassan said during a virtual launch.
The Chinese firm also launched the Redmi Note 10S phone.

A 58-year-old woman died at the waiting bay of the Nanyuki Teaching and Referral Hospital while awaiting her laboratory results on Monday, May 31.
Halima Hassan had been rushed to the hospital by her family members when she got sick at her home.
