Most silent films are thought to be lost forever to things like fires, deterioration, or just because studios didn’t care very much to preserve them. But the long list of lost media just got a little shorter. Sealed Hearts (1919), a drama directed by Ralph Ince and starring Eugene O’Brien, was recently found in a UK film collector’s basement. It’s the only copy known to exist.
