He is in charge, currently, of managing the reinvention process for the allied museum, which will move from its current southwest berlin to hanger in berlin, a huge complex built in the nazi era. His academic career brought him to washington, d. C. He was a Research Fellow at the United States Holocaust Memorial museum, working on his phd project on the restitution of jewish property in germany.
