Murphy succeeds Ralph Cascarilla, who has served the firm as managing partner for the past two decades. Murphy is the sixth manging partner at the firm since its founding in 1932.

That's not the only change in store for the Cleveland-based law firm in 2023, whose longtime managing partner will not seek another term next spring. The firm is also reconsidering its office needs as its lease at Erieview Tower winds down next year.
