The Plymouth Plan Commission heard the recommendation of Planning Director Ralph Booker to amend the zoning ordinance for R-1 Rural Residential to allow small livestock operations. Booker said the idea is to try to open up the R-1 zoning district a little more to allow 4-H kids to raise a small number of farm animals
The City of Plymouth will meet Monday evening with the Board of Public Works and Safety starting at 6 p.m. and the Common Council meeting at 6:30 p.m.
The Board of Public Works and Safety will hear from various department heads, consider the 2021 agreement for Animal Control with the Marshall County Humane Society and approval of claims.
The Common Council meeting will include a public hearing for additional appropriations, the 2021 agreement for Planning Services with Ralph Booker, the 2021 Transportation Services with Older Adults and the certification of compliance with nepotism and contracting policies.
The City Attorney will present Executive Order 2020-26 for Fire Department Operations due to the coronavirus and the resolution for the additional appropriations.
