The civic body has said that the person was supposed to use the fertile soil at Moshi garbage depot to create compost from waste. Nonetheless, the locals were unconvinced they cited the threat of floods in lowlying areas of Sangvi and Dapodi.

Instead, much to their horror, they watched the branches of the trees being hacked off, compromising the area’s green cover. Shocked, they’ve drawn the attention of the municipal commissioner, Shravan Hardikar, to the ineffective and inappropriate resolution offered, seeking his intervention.
