66 journalists get PM’s financial support in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI: A number of 66 more journalists have received the Prime Minister’s financial assistance at a ceremony in Rajshahi on Wednesday to cope with the adverse impact of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Bangladesh Journalists Welfare Trust (BJWT) organised the cheque distribution ceremony at the conference hall of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Office.
Each of the journalists was given Taka 10,000.
DC Abdul Jalil and Additional Deputy Commissioner Shariful Haque addressed the function as the chief and special guests respectively with President of Rajshahi Union of Journalists (RUJ) Rafiqul Islam in the chair.
