Less than four months ago, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spent over seven minutes, heaping effusive praise on Kevadia, the location of the Statue of Unity, the worldâs tallest.
Flagging off eight new trains connecting different parts of the country to Kevadia, Modi said the region was no longer a block in a remote part of Gujarat. It was now, âone of the largest tourist destinations in the world and was attracting more tourists than even the Statue of Liberty,â Modi said.
