The Indian Army located a hideout in the forests of Rajouri district used by terrorists in the recent encounter where five army personnel lost their lives. The army shared images of the "small cave," emphasizing the difficulty in detecting and breaching such hideouts. Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi revealed that some terrorists who crossed into India were retired Pakistani soldiers, possibly trained in various countries including Pakistan and Afghanistan.
