A 44-year-old man and his 18-year-old son died in an accident in Rajkot when an autorickshaw collided with a dumper truck. Four others were injured in the incident. The accident caused a traffic jam on Kuvadva road near Greenland Chowkdi. In another incident in Morbi, a 20-year-old labourer died when a speeding car hit him. The car driver fled the scene and a case has been filed against him.
A criminal case has been regsitered against Swaminarayan Sect's sadhu Anand Sagar over his alleged controversial statment on Lord Shiva.The Sanatani Brahma Samaj has alleged that during one of his sermons, the sadhu had "insulted" .
