The DDC asked the concerned departments to formulate the plan in consultation with the PRI members as per the needs of their areas and submit the same at the earliest so that work on the proposed projects can be started timely. He further asked officers to explore all the avenues for capital expenditure, besides incorporating workable and efficient inputs and data for a rational and proper formulation of the plan proposals. He said that only work having an impact on the public should be incorporated.
Meanwhile, the DDC also chaired an emergency meeting and reviewed the measures for the efficient containment and management of COVID19 in the district. He directed the CMO to ensure maximum vaccination and testing, including hundred percent sampling for the contact tracing in the containment zones.

Rajouri: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan today inspected Covid control measures in Nowshera town and interacted with traders and other civil society members.
Among others, Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Sher Singh; Additional Deputy Commissioner Nowshera, Sukhdev Singh Sambyal, SHO Nowshera accompanied the Deputy Commissioner.
The Deputy Commissioner, while interacting with the general public in the town, said that the district administration Rajouri is working 24/7 to counter the COVID19 pandemic in the district but the active cooperation of the common masses was a must to ensure the effective containment and management of infection in the district. He asked the shopkeepers to follow social distancing norms and advised the public not to move in the town without face masks.

RAJOURI, Apr 22: Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, Jammu- Poonch constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma today reviewed the progress achieved under different centrally sponsored schemes in district Rajouri at the District Development Coordination & Monitoring Committee (DISHA) meeting held in the Conference Hall of PWD Dak Bungalow.
The meeting was attended by Chairperson District Development Council, Naseem Liyaqat; Vice-Chairperson DDC, Shabir Khan; District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan, SSP, Sheema Nabi Qasba, BDC Chairpersons, DDC Members, nominated members of DISHA and senior officers of the district administration among the others.
