HUBBALLI: It was a grim period for the districts of North Karnataka when Covid cases showed little signs of declining – a phase that continued till November – with the JSL plant in Ballari even becoming a ‘Cluster Case’ site. In most districts, the number of fresh cases being reported has slipped to single digits, a steep fall from the dark days of September and October, when each district was reporting around 100 to 150 fresh cases every day.
