"The rules and regulations and the entire implementation mechanism is being converted to a totally digital mechanism. We are also working very closely with almost every stakeholder to make sure that our internet is safe, it is trusted and it is delivering what is intended," the minister said.

Five members of the Rajya Sabha in India, including BJP leader Jugalsinh Lokhandwala, have retired and were bid farewell in a session. Four members, including three AITC members and one BJP member, won re-election to the Upper House. Mallikarjun Kharge, the Leader of Opposition, said that there is no permanent retirement in politics. The Chairman, Jagdeep Dhankhar, highlighted the contributions made by retiring members.
