Four members, including three AITC members and one BJP member, won re-election to the Upper House. Mallikarjun Kharge, the Leader of Opposition, said that there is no permanent retirement in politics. The Chairman, Jagdeep Dhankhar, highlighted the contributions made by retiring members.
