Rajasthan government has decided to reopen schools in the state from classes 6 to 8 from February 8 onwards. The schools in the state would reopen from next Monday with compliance of coronavirus-related guidelines. The decision to reopen schools was taken in by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in a meeting on Sunday evening.
The schools will have to follow the standard operating procedures, SOPs that have been issued by the center and the state government. Fifty percent of the strength will be allowed in school and colleges on a day. Students and teachers will have to maintain social distancing inside the school premises, mandatory use of masks and hand sanitize

Rajasthan schools for Class 6, 8 to reopen from Feb 8
The Rajasthan government has decided to reopen schools from Class 6 to 8 from next Monday with compliance of coronavirus-related guidelines.
Along with this, colleges for first-year and second-year students, multiplex, theatre, cinema halls and swimming pools will also open, and 200 people will be allowed in social functions instead of 100. The decisions were taken in by the chief minister in a meeting on Sunday evening.
Fifty per cent of the strength will be allowed in school and colleges on a day. Similarly, cinema halls will be able to function with 50 per cent capacity.

There are 27,920 gram panchayats in Maharashtra. Though the village panchayat elections are not fought on party symbols, panels are fielded by political parties or local leaders.
A majority of the states have opened physical classes for 10 and 12. However, there are some states where schools have been opened for junior students as well.
Schools have adopted several measures to prevent the spread of the virus staggered timing, reduced attendance in classes, CCTV cameras to monitor social distancing and sanitisation of classrooms.
Schools campuses across the country were ordered shut in March last year and students were asked to take online classes.
