In a bid to contain the spread of coronavirus, the Rajasthan government ordered the closure of offices and markets from Monday to May 3, according to a release.
The weekend curfew began in Rajasthan at 6 pm and will continue till 5 am on Monday. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot  
Jaipur: As Rajasthan went into the weekend lockdown, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Friday evening urged people to cooperate with the authorities during the curfew period in a bid to contain the fast-spreading coronavirus pandemic in the state.
While addressing the state over the Covid-19 situation, he appealed to the citizens to keep cooperating like they have been doing for the last 10 months and said that the state government is with the people in this fight against the Covid-19 and has made all the arrangements.
