Mohnish Bahl does not miss being in the movies. In fact, he prefers making only sporadic appearances in a film or two now. But his name evokes memories of his villainous turn in ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ (1989), which he followed up by playing the doting elder brother in ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!’. The Salman Khan and Bhagyashree-starrer celebrated 31 years of its release last week, and ETimes reached out to Mohnish to find out about what he was up to now. During the course of the conversation, the son of legendary actress Nutan recalled how it was a phone call from his mother that changed his life and career, looked back on his long association with Barjatyas, and quipped how Salman has better movie sense than him.
