The City of Fredericton is planning to construct a roundabout on Prospect Street at the intersection of Patience Lane to improve traffic flow for residents living in one of the fastest-growing corners of the city.
Fredericton councillors gave approval Monday night for the construction of a 147-unit apartment building even though the location currently lacks access to public transit.

Essex Police said unknown chemicals had been found inside a house after police cordoned off a road and row of houses. A spokesman said officers arrived at the scene at 7.30am when they spoke to a man who was left in the care of health professionals. Police were joined at the scene by ambulance and fire crews as well as forensics specialists.
