the united states. so many things to so many different people. right now the situation is very grim. the water continues to rise. you get the warnings and watches up and down the river. everything shaded in green is a place where there s deep concern about the waters rising including down into memphis and natchez and even to vicksburg. this is something we ll watch the next couple of days. more rain on the way for the great lakes clear down to the parts of the central plains. get away from the floods for a moment, you can expect delays in places like the twin cities and chicago. out to the west, a frontal boundary pulling into the pacific northwest. could see delays in seattle before the day is out at sea-tac airport. same deal in the great basin. a beautiful trend of weather for the eastern seaboard down to the gulf coast. scattered showers for parts of south florida. but in terms of thunderstorms, in terms of the rainmakers, thankfully it does not seem to
