count. a lot of these individuals probably would have been gone away from those homes to work. but it was saturday morning, they were home. for family members, the wait is agonizing. this happened to see a picture on facebook of the mudslide, and i recognized it instantly as my parents backyard. i just want to know where she is. i want some answers. while the search goes on, there s a second disaster threatening residents, a dam created by the mudslide is blocking the river. mother nature right now is doing a good job of recarving the river channel. we want to monitor it, watch it, use the tools we have to watch the water flows, and so far, it s doing what we expected. late today, geologists reported seeing more movement in the same area, triggering fears of another landslide there. another looming threat, the fact that the weather is going to get worse. they re predicting rain starting
