actually center right there. that satellite picture, more going on around jamaica. jamaica and cuba getting rain with this. and that s going to be an ongoing issue. the forecast track for this takes it across cuba. it s doing that right now. right now it s about 100 miles south of marathon, florida, less than 200 miles from miami. moving to the north/northeast at 14 miles an hour. forecast to become a tropical storm, which would make it tropical storm nicole. not going to do much more than that. the big thing is going to be the rain and a tremendous amount of rain with this. already seeing several inches across southern florida. we re seeing the northern fringe of this coming in and the heavier rain from miami all the way up almost to melbourne. the rain shield with this is drenching parts of north carolina. remember yesterday we told you wilmington had 10 inches of rain the day before yesterday? yesterday got another couple of inches. they just had an inch in an hour right now. so wil

with a couple of tornado warnings. they have since been allowed to be dropped. still, can coming onshore around marco island right now. a pretty hefty duty thunderstorm rolling through that area. we don t expect a whole lot of thunderstorms across the northeast. they will probably drop some heavy rain. we are seeing the rain shield from the northern end of this system getting into the tri-state area of new york, jersey and connecticut. heavy rain potential with this storm as it slowly makes its way off the eastern seaboard. we saw heavy rain yesterday. tampa, 2.11. new york city, already at 1.61. so they got more rain on the way right now. 70 for the high. temperature expected in memphis, tennessee, 62 degrees in chicago. 78 degrees in dallas. 51 degrees, a little bit of snow at the higher elevations of denver. 66 in seattle expected with another pacific storm scheduled to roll in tomorrow. wednesday, pretty strong system coming into the west coast about midweek t.j. that will emerge i
