dangerous situation right now, casey. reporter: absolutely. we actually have a break in the weather right now, tony. no rain. it s been raining all night long, in fact for five days almost nonstop in ventura county, california, throughout california. we thought we would take the opportunity to show you what the real concern is. normally when we get big storms in california, the beachside homes are at risk, the most priciest real estate in california. that s not the case this time because there s not that combination of high tide and heavy surf. all we have is rain. what is the real concern are mudslides. see mudslides and raging waters. see video from affiliate ktla of a man trapped in his truck. he was eventually rescued by the swift water rescue teams that have been deployed throughout the state. they ve had to conduct several rescue operations. people that get caught in flood control channels crossing
