HYDERABAD: Minister KT Rama Rao said that the statement of Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw during his visit to Hyderabad yesterday that there is no chance of setting up Kazipet Railway Coach factory which was one of the assurances under the State Bifurcation Act is reprehensible.
KTR slams Centre over the Railway Coach Factory for Telangana:- Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) slammed the Centre for taking a U-Turn and ignoring the setup of a railway coach factory in Kazipet which was promised for the state long ago. He said that the Centre ignored the promises made for Telangana and the Centre is just doing injustice for the South Indian states and is not bothered about them. KTR spoke at the CII Conference in Hyderabad today. He reminded that the Telangana government allocated 150 acres of land when the Centre wanted 60 acres of land for the railway coach factory in Kazipet.

Working President KTR fired the centre for taking U-turn on Kazipet Rail Coach Factory
“Setting up of a Rail Coach factory is the constitutional right of Telangana. BJP does not have any right to reject or take a U-turn on the promise made to Telangana in Parliament. Rail coach factory is Telangana’s constitutional right and we will fight for our rights with the Centre,” said KTR. He also added that the TRS MPs would fight for the rail coach factory in Parliament in the upcoming sessions.
“The BJP government at the Center has been doing injustice to Telangana since the formation of the state. The BJP once again exhibited its anti-Telangana stance by failing to fulfill its promise to set up a railway coach factory in the state as promised in the Reorganisation Act,” said TRS Working President KTR.
