Jember (beritajatim.com) – Balai Teknik Perkeretaapian Wilayah Jawa Timur akan mengagendakan program penggantian rel dan wesel untuk menambah kecepatan kereta api di wilayah PT Kereta Api Daerah Operasi IX Jember.
Penggantian rel lama dengan rel yang lebih baru dan besar (R54) menjadi prioritas. “Dengan demikian kerata api tidak lagi mengalami pembatasan kecepatan,” katanya Vecga Septian dari Humas BTP, Senin (28/6/2021).
Menurut Vecga, tim dari BTP Jatim akan membentuk tim yang turun langsung ke lapangan dan berkoordinasi dengan PT KAI Daop 9. “Dengan begitu nantinya dapat bersama-sama membantu mencapai target kami,” katanya.
