Endwalker will conclude the Hydaelyn/Zodiark story that’s been running since
Final Fantasy XIV 1.0. Which launched back in
2010. This has been a long time coming (and is still a little ways off, as it’s due out in fall), but this
isn’t the end of
Final Fantasy XIV itself.
In this article, I’m going to cover basically everything of interest revealed in the livestream everything you need to know, to cheesily drop the title. Note that this means
massive spoilers if you’re not caught up on
Final Fantasy XIV yet.

The healer drought is finally coming to an end.
During the F
inal Fantasy XIVAnnouncement for the next expansion,
Endwalker, Yoshi-P and Koji Fox revealed the first of the two new jobs coming to Final Fantasy XIV – The Sage. Finally addressing the dearth of healers in the MMO, the Sage will bring the role up to four available jobs. The Sage will have more in common with the Scholar than the White Mage or Astrologian, so fans of barrier-style healing may have found themselves a new main job.
The Sage is a barrier-style healer coming in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker.

The Raid Finder is a separate menu for joining high-end battles in Final Fantasy XIV, such as the latest extreme and unreal primals, and savage and ultimate-level raids. While the Raid Finder is functionally similar to the Duty Finder, meant to randomly match players looking to clear high-end raids, it doesn’t always function the way you might think.
Like other systems in the game, there are some cultural barriers depending on your region in the world. Every player in every region doesn’t use the Raid Finder in the same ways.
Using the Raid Finder
Like the Duty Finder, the Raid Finder displays a list of high-end duties currently available. You can find this within the Duty Finder itself, after switching over to the High-end Duty tab. Or you can open the Raid Finder directly from your menu. After selecting a duty, you’ll have the option of picking your matching requirements before queueing up.
