Former Ducsu VP Nurul Haque Nur has been sued in another case under the Digital Security Act in Cumilla on charge of hurting religious sentiments of Awami League activists and supporters during a Facebook live session on April 14.
Atikur Rahman Helal, president of Swechhasebok League s Muradnagar Upazila unit, filed the case with Murdnagar Police Station today, said Sadekur Rahman, officer-in-charge of the police station.
According to the case statement, the plaintiff said that Nur s speech during a Facebook live on April 14 hurt religious sentiments of general people as well as Awami League activists and supporters.
