CHARSADDA: Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) provincial Chairman Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao on Friday criticised the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government for making cut in the funds meant for the merged districts.
Addressing a gathering in Union Council Matta in Shabqadar tehsil here, he said the PTI government was least bothered to provide facilities and rebuild the damaged infrastructure in the merged districts.
Sikandar Sherpao said the government’s decision would deepen the sense of deprivation among the residents of merged districts.
On the occasion, scores of workers from PTI and Jamaat-e-Islami, including Shaheen, Iftikhar Khan, Sardar Nabi, Khalid Khan, Rahim Gul Sabz Ali Khan and others, announced joining the QWP.
