Despite its name, no one could call Rasulbagh Children’s Park a place appropriate for children a few years ago. It used to be crowded with those who abused drugs, and a little rain waterlogged the whole place.
Hoping to spend some quality time with his family, Mohram Ali recently took his three children to Shaheed Matiur Park at the capital’s Gulistan. But after reaching the entrance, the family got confused and eventually disheartened.
“I want to tell the politicians bring in the architects to transform cities and communities. Create opportunities for them to study more, so they can get better and more competent. It is a tragedy that city planners never get to implement their plans.”
