14 suspected child predators, including ex-teacher, nabbed in Las Vegas undercover sting © Provided by New York Daily News More than a dozen men accused of targeting children for sex crimes were arrested in the Las Vegas metro area this week as part of an undercover operation, authorities said Friday. The 14 suspects engaged in inappropriate conversations with agents posing as juveniles on the internet and tried to set up sexual encounters with them, according to police. The accused predators, whose ages ranged from 24 to 50, were taken into custody after showing up at a location where they allegedly planned to sexually abuse a minor, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said in a news release.
