Legacies fans got quite the shock recently, when the show appeared to say goodbye to one of its main characters.
In last night s episode of the popular
Vampire Diaries spin-off (January 28), which was appropriately titled Goodbyes Sure Do Suck , werewolf Rafael Waithe started coughing up the same black sludge that Chad did following his dealings with The Necromancer and, well, before his demise in the season 3 premiere.
As the other characters determined that he d probably only have days left, Rafael (Peyton Alex Smith) told his Salvatore School pals and resurrected foster brother Landon (Aria Shahghasemi) that he was not afraid.

Legacies saw things get back to as close to normal as things go for the students of the Salvatore School.
