good to have you along. welcome to cnn this morning. it is saturday, november 25th. i m victor blackwell. i m isabel rosales. thank you for being with us this morning. we are waiting for the release of more hostages being held by hamas. meanwhile, we are seeing video of these family reunions. video here of 9-year-old o ohad munda, you see him running down the hall and jumping into his father s arms after seven weeks in captivity. he and his mother and grandmother were among the 24 hostages released yesterday. 13 israelis, ten thai citizens and one filipino were in that first group. this video was released by hamas. these hostages, they were immediately taken to hospitals near tel aviv for medical checkups. officials say they are in good condition, good physical condition. in return for the freed israeli hostages, israel released 39 palestinian prisoners. videos obtained show the crowd waiving palestinian and hamas flags and carrying the newly released prisoners through
announcer: this is cnn breaking news. thank you so much for joining us. i m boris sanchez alongside jim sciutto in washington. we have wolf blitzer live for us in tel aviv, israel, where we are monitoring remarkable moments in the middle east. it s freedom after 48 hellish days in the hands of hamas and other groups in gaza. today the first 24 hostages were taken into egypt, and you can see them in this footage just moments after their release at the rafa border crossing. this is just the start of their journey back after they were ripped from their homes on october 7th. the israeli defense forces shared this video of the moment a bus carrying the hostages entered israel. most of the people released today are women and children. we are told they include 13 israelis. you see their pictures here. as well as ten thai citizens and a filipino citizen who were also taken on october 7th. over next three days we do expect to see at least 37 more hostages released. that was a fi

clapton for joining us on cnn. i am michael holmes, appreciate your company as we continue to cover the israel-hamas war. we do begin in gaza. at a horrific scene outside the largest hospital in gaza city. we will show you video obtained by cnn, it is extremely graphic. the israeli military admits that it was behind the airstrike, just outside the hospital, hitting an ambulance, killing at least 15 people. you can see scenes of carnage of chaos. the ambulance was said to be a part of the convoy selecting patients to southern gaza. the idf claims the ambulance was being used by hamas and it had used emergency vehicles to transport fighters and weapons in the past. following developments for us from abu dhabi, she joined me now, good to see you, lainey. the loss of civilian life continues, the strike on or near ambulance is outside, just the latest brings of the day for what we know. clearly, seeing those images of bodies strewn sheer panic, this is the result of an israeli a
