way from texas up through the central plains. the central mississippi valley, and moving into the northeast. let s go ahead and take a look at it bit by bit. first part of the storm is that it s bitterly cold in the northern plains. look at that. 40 below is the current wind chill in rapid city. it s 21 below in denver and 6 in dallas/fort worth. in front of it, much warmer temperatures. as you can see, meanwhile, along the gulf coast from texas to the panhandle of florida and up through the tennessee valley later today, there s a threat for large hail, strong winds and maybe even tornadoes. and then you ve got the winter storm as you can see a blizzard conditions all the way from oklahoma up through the great lakes and snow all the way from texas to central plains. in the middle of that, could be dangerous ice. and that s what we got to look forward to today on into tomorrow. all right. that s a look at the monster storm. now over to gretch with the radio rumble.
