For example in china town a room cost upwards of 500. This is over rent for example is over 50 percent of seniors income. Its a great hardship. As we get older a lot of Seniors Health declines and this comes from frequency of doctors visits and rely on muni and go out to get groceries. Muni is our primary mode. A lot of seniors who want to be socially active, muni is the way to go. Muni does take a large portion of our budget. So we ask that supervisors and the mta in the budget give what you can to seniors for people with disabilities so they can have good lives in San Francisco. We know there are models out there like in cities that provide transportation to seniors. We hope to see that yo
