The puc is in two office locations. You know, this is such a great place for a building. If the puc owned that building and we could make that the icon i can sustainable building puc represents, wouldnt be a dramatic idea . So, one of the major decisions we made was we wanted to make a statement with this building. We wanted this building to be a lead Platinum Building which is very few buildings in San Francisco that achieved this mark. Leadership and Energy Environmental design, it takes a look at the way we think about the places where we live and work. I like to think of it as designed for human and environmental health. Lead addresses five categories that enhances environment. Indoor air quality, energy, water, materials and resources, and sustainable sites are the five categories for the lead. Building is Still Standing doesnt necessarily mean theres not a danger there. So what could you as nerts do to make that situation better or at least keep it the same so no one else gets hurt . Keep it off, yeah. Keep people away. Perfect. Take out some of that yellow tape that you have, that yellow caution tape, and string it around around keep people back. In this particular case, what could you do to make that situation better . Turn off the gas. Where would you turn the gas off at . At the street, okay. Thats a good place to do it. But you always want to do it at the safest location. So if the street is the safest location, thats where you would do it at. This house here fell over. Doesnt have something called a sheer wall. So its just a platform or a platform or a balloon, nothing that keeps the wall from racking, they call it. So you want to make sure that the building that you are in are sheered. This class is managing a disaster. What happens and how do we fit in . Emergency operation plan, everything is going to go through the mayor. You have the office of emergency services, everything is supposed to come together over on turk street. Thats where the ham radio base station is going to be. Thats where they will have a set up. They will be communicating with all the different Emergency Response districts. Thats where we fit in. Were going to fit into this Emergency Response staging thing into nert staging districts. Each response district has its own little inaudible then the nert groups are broken up into the corresponding Emergency Response districts and they are located at our Fire Department, battalion chief stations, basically theres a battalion chief there, he will be like the little commander of that district as far as were concerned and the Fire Departments response. Going to have the ham Radio Communication people there, they are going to set up a little base station

The next 30 percent of the people can be rescued by you people. Then theres another 15 percent, thats where the Fire Department comes in, or the sheriffs department, people who are trained to do those type of rescue. The other 5 percent is by specialized teams, the usar teams. If you are to get to somebody within the first 30 minutes, they have a 99 percent chance a greater than 99 percent chance of surviving.
