Singapore to consider appeals for early vaccination for urgent overseas travel Details Published: 17 March 2021
The Singapore Government will now start considering offering early vaccination to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents (PRs) who need it for urgent overseas travel.
According to a press release by the Ministry of Health (MOH), this comes on the back of appeals from members of the public who wish to receive their vaccination early.
While the Government s focus has been to vaccinate identified priority groups on public health considerations, as more vaccine supplies arrive, Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents with very exceptional circumstances can apply to receive their vaccination earlier.

SINGAPORE - The Moderna Covid-19 vaccine will be administered at four new vaccination centres here starting on Wednesday (March 17), the Ministry of Health has announced.
These are: Hong Kah North Community Club, Marsiling Community Club, Punggol 21 Community Club and Radin Mas Community Club.
All other vaccination centres here, as well as polyclinics and selected Public Health Preparedness Clinics (PHPCs), will continue to offer the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.
MOH said that the Moderna vaccine will be available at more vaccination centres as more supplies of it arrive. Each vaccination centre will stock and administer only one type of vaccine. Individuals must select the same vaccination centre for both their first and second appointments, when booking via the national appointment system, said the ministry on Tuesday.
