MaiRose Property Developments Ltd intend to build three houses, on land next to 34 James Street North are designed over three storeys, with the third floor using the loft space with vaulted ceilings and rear dormers. The site is described as an ‘infill plot’ close to similar homes. A design and access statement in support of the application, said: “The scale and nature of the proposed development is in keeping with similar housing development along James Street North and is in accordance with the general pattern and character of the surrounding built environment.
The site at James Street North in Radcliffe PLANS have been submitted to Bury Council to build three new houses in Radcliffe. The site comprises a vacant area of land located on the west side of James Street North, close to the town centre. According to the planning statement submitted by Salford-based Paul Butler Associates, the site is currently “bounded by 1.6m high concrete and timber fencing. To the north and south of the site are adjacent terrace dwelling which front James Street North. There is also terrace dwelling to the east on the opposite side of James Street North. To the west of the site is an area of ‘Protected Open Space’.
