Reporter after months of shelter in place order San Francisco is now the first bay area county to achieve the lowest risk under the states blueprint for a safer e kick economy. A new county is benefiting, San Francisco county is moving from orange to yellow today. They are trending in the right direction. Cases are dropping. A few months ago the case rate was hundred 30 new cases per day. Now we are down to about 30 on average so that is very good news. Reporter those low numbers come even as the countys testing as many as 5000 people per day. Hospitalization rates are also low with just 25 people currently hospitalize with covid19.
