Renaissance Food Group brings on new director of sales Renaissance Food Group (RFG), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Calavo Growers, Inc., has hired Nick Georgantas as director of sales, bringing with him more than 15 years of sales experience. Georgantas will glean from past experience, where he specialized in bringing retail perishable products and programs to the marketplace, to drive sales and business development efforts for RFG, focusing primarily in the Northeast region of the country. Georgantas will also work fostering existing customer relationships while seeking out new customer partnerships in this highly retail-dense region. Previous to his role at RFG, Georgantas’ 15-year professional history includes various positions across the food industry, including with F&S Produce, Harbar LLC and Taylor Farms.

United Fresh launches exhibitor education webinar series United Fresh Produce Association gathered its exhibiting community for the first time since announcing its return to live events this June 24-26 in Los Angeles, CA., to kick off a four-event education webinar series that will guide exhibitors through the benefits of this year’s online and in-person experience. During a year of uncertainty and virtual-only engagement, United Fresh worked with its exhibitors through pre-event education to ensure a successful transition online for United Fresh LIVE! held in June 2020. This year, the association will once again usher exhibitors toward success of the hybrid event through a series of webinars as they plan to bring the industry together once again – in-person and online – for a choose-your-own-adventure experience.
