Why are you running for office?
Gerend: I am running for the school board because I am passionate about public education and believe it is tied to the vitality of our community. I learned firsthand as a child how powerful good schools are in nurturing and supporting students. Investing in our children now means a vibrant future for Wrightstown. We must support, respect, recognize, and have faith in our teachers and staff that have the important job of educating our children. Teachers cannot do this work alone. I want to be able to work with parents, teachers, and district staff to continue achieving success here in Wrightstown.
