Despite a nerve-racking year, Third Culture Bakery is ready to put 2020 behind and grow its mochi muffin empire. “Last year was such a crazy blur of things, and we were just responding and reacting to all the changing state and local ordinances,” said Wenter Shyu, who co-owns Third Culture Bakery with husband and chef Sam Butarbutar. “So, we really set our intention this year to not just react, but to set our own goals.”
