A Heritage Christian Academy student is one of 120 across Kentucky to be selected to the Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs.
The governor’s office says it’s a highly competitive summer program where Kentucky high school students focus on product innovation and business model design.
Participants are selected through a competitive process that does not consider GPA or test scores, and the experience is free for all participants. The application is structured to identify creative problem-solvers, according to a news release.
HCA junior Weston Powell was chosen and is the lone student from Christian County who will participate in one of two sessions this summer.
