A top investor in Glosslab says he is “no longer associated” with the embattled nail salon even as it continues to shutter stores across the Big Apple, The Post has learned.
The New York-based chain which has touted a water-free, hygiene-minded approach to manicures and monthly memberships for unlimited access to its salons has been mired in chaos under founder and CEO Rachel Apfel Glass, according to former employees.
Posh nail salon Glosslab – whose investors include former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo, ex-Tinder CEO Sean Rad and The Chainsmokers is closing stores and skipping rent at multiple locations as an aggressive expansion plan has run into trouble, The Post has learned.
