The End of the Road, is part of a series of three ‘anthems’ for the town that have been created thanks to funding from the Arts Council England. Rachel Ashton, artistic director for Abbey Road-based arts centre Theatre Factory, secured the grant which was created to help the struggling arts sector after the pandemic. She said: “The track has been created as an anthem to represent the resilience that the town has shown throughout the pandemic, especially the youth.” The duo worked with Walney Youth Group on the track.
