Southbound lanes of 880 north of high street to traffic as they were searching for evidence and shell casings. They reopened around 120 this morning. We dont know what prompted the shooting but after it was shot at he called in report what had happened and Police Spotted the suspects vehicle and tried to get it to stop but the driver sped away and police continued to sur sue it. The suspects vehicle was later found abandoned near brooke dale avenue. The people inside had taken off but investigators closed off the area and the neighborhood hoping a search would lead them to the suspects. However, that search turned up nothing according to police. The people involved in this freeway shooting are still at large. That is why Oakland Police have offered a 10,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest in this case.
