The anticipated Australian edition of
RuPaul’s Drag Race has officially been announced as a Stan Original called
RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under, with Ru and Michelle Visage coming to judge our best and brightest queens.
The series will commence filming this week in New Zealand after NSW’s COVID-19 numbers saw production make a last-minute shift from Sydney, with Stan confirming that RuPaul and Visage were in the country for filming. Earlier this month, it was reported that Ru was in hotel quarantine in New Zealand, kicking off speculation that the spin-off was filming there.
