Goenka Group’s CESC looks to tweak the company’s AoA

Alteration will increase number of directors to 15
RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group flagship, CESC Ltd, is looking at an alteration in the Articles of Association (AoA) of the company. The alteration will enable an increase in the maximum number of directors to 15, up from the present 10.
According to company sources, this is an “enabling provision” which has been “recommended” keeping in mind the “size of the operations of the company” and the large number of subsidiaries.

The new episode of Ityadi, a popular mazagine show, will be aired on BTV and BTV World at 08:40pm today.
The shooting of the latest episode of the show took place at the Bangladesh Naval Academy, Patenga in Chattogram. Directed and hosted by Hanif Sanket, the current episode of the show was shot with a limited audience in compliance with Covid-19 protocols.
The show features two songs. Between the songs one is performed by the students of Bangladesh Naval School and the other is a patriotic song, sung by native Chattogram vocalist Rabi Chowdhury and naval member Lieutenant Sadia. Mohammad Rafiquzzaman has written the lyrics, while Hanif Sanket has composed the melody and Mahedi has arranged the music of the songs.
