Dear President Biden,
First, congratulations from me and from many in the American Jewish community. As a Rabbi, I wanted to pen these thoughts to you.
You are entering the presidency amid much adversity in our land: a relentless pandemic, sharp often bitter division among Americans, economic trouble and other setbacks. For what it is worth, I wanted to offer you these words of encouragement.
Always know that out of adversity comes strength from God if we seek it, which enables us to go on stronger. Please look to examples of this.
First, obviously, in your own personal past, you have gone through so much pain. You have lost family members a wife and two children. You have suffered serious illness. But you reached down for God s support and your Catholic faith. And with it, you went on.
