The Wembley arch will no longer light up for political issues or inclusion campaigns after the Football Association (FA) reviewed its policy.
The FA came in for criticism from some quarters last month for failing to illuminate the structure at England’s national stadium in response to the Israel-Gaza war, with the chair of its Faith in Football group, Rabbi Alex Goldberg, subsequently resigning after expressing his “profound disapppointment”.
